Extension Sought for Paying Taxes
The Hamilton County Treasurer’s Office is asking the state to give county property owners an extra week to pay their property taxes.
Treasurer Robert A. Goering wants the deadline to be moved from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4.
More than 500 senior citizens did not receive their Homestead property tax break because of a programming glitch.
